Job Description & Requirements:

This position is responsible for overall management of the Tennis Club (including memberships, lessons,leagues, summer camps, retail operations, child care services, facility & grounds maintenance, and equipment).
Accountable for profit & loss of designated areas. Responsible for budget of approximately $1.1 million. Directly oversees 2 supervisory employees and other key full time employees; indirectly oversees dozens of part time
employees.

SCHEDULING & PAY

This is a full time, year round position. Daily schedule will vary based on facility hours of operation which will include nights and weekends based on program and facility needs. Target hiring range is $70,000 - $85,000, DOQ
(commensurate with qualifications and experience).

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in recreation, physical education, public administration, business, or a related field required. At least 5 years of related experience, preferably in the area of facility or program
management. Supervisory experience required. Prior supervisory experience and a proven track record of effective leadership skills a must. Critical thinking, analytic ability, excellent communication and organizational skills, strong
technical ability (MS Outlook and MS Office) all required.
Professional certification(s) and/or active membership in a
professional association desirable. Valid Illinois driver’s license required.
