**Major Position** 

DIRECTOR OF TENNIS Position Open for premier private Golf and Country Club in Florida. 

Essential Responsibilities:

 • Responsible for implementing dynamic and innovative tennis and racquet sports program including exhibitions, Club events, and tournaments.
• A passionate leader and professional with a proven track record of providing high-level Member services.
• Plans and directs the tennis/racquets instructional programs.
• Experience in high volume tennis/racquets operation with verifiable successful results.
• Har-Tru tennis court maintenance experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, experience working with Club Committees.
• Financial planning and budgeting skills: merchandise, payroll and other expenses.
• Team player mentality, works effectively with all department heads, employees and Members at Country Club.
• Extremely organized with meticulous attention to detail, excellent time management and multi-tasking skills.
• A high-energy individual with a strong work ethic. A committed and dedicated tennis professional that recognizes the demands of a seasonal, premiere country club.
• Strong computer skills, Microsoft Office & Clubessential preferred.
• Ensure cleanliness standards are consistency met throughout the tennis & racquet sport facilities.

This is a hands-on Director of Tennis position. The Director of Tennis must be a leader and set an example for his team to follow.

Educational & Certification

• Three to five years related experience as a head tennis/racquet professional, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Private club experience preferable but not required.

Working Environment/Physical Demands

The physical demands of this position are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to sit, primarily asked to stand, run and walk. Light, periodic lifting will be required.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced, moderately noisy environment.
• Employee will be required to stand, run, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch and potentially crawl.

Salary & Benefits

• $65,000 – $75,000, Base Salary
• Tennis Lessons and Clinic Compensation
• Annual Performance Bonus: Objectives determined by the COO
• Meals & Golf Privileges

• Continued Education & Uniform Allowance
